Hi,

in general there is no specific unit for the force. It depends on all other units. You have to define the system of units yourself.

You can use the systems from http://bugs.elamx.de/projects/expandabl ... iki/Theory

eLamX works independently from any unit systems. The user is asked to provide a consistent unit system, like the SI-, the MPa- or the imperial system. An overview of consistent unit systems can be found here: Link or the german equivalent in the eLamX-Wiki: Link

Hi,

just to be sure: the nx, ny, mx etc... are loads/moments per length (running loads) or concentrated loads/moments?

Thanks,
M.
